Did Romano first appear as Elizabeth's sponsor, when she came on board? If not, when? And why does everyone on this list call him "Rocket"? I've never heard him callled that on the show. Thanks.

Felicity - They did call him "Rocket" - I beleive on one of the first episodes he appeared in. It is his nickname from another hospital - i guess because he is such a great surgeon, but a bad ass too.

actually, I think he calls himself that... It is on his lab coat.

Yeah, he was her sponsor. Until he cut her loose, which is how she ended up an intern once again last season.

I personally refer to him as Ratfink. He's one of my favorite character because he is such a Ferretface. Score yourself 5 bonus points if you caught that reference. Paul McCane must have a lot of fun playing the creep! Did you notice that he uses a *gold* stethascope? I bet Rocket is a nickname that he came up with himself and tried to get people to start using it once he was at a new hospital! Kinda like Arnold "Ace" Rimmer from Red Dwarf.
