OT: So ya like George Dubya, huh?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

The Bushes are one of the most corrupt families in the U.S. Jeb Bush was part of a savings and loan scandal/public rip off not long ago. Daddy is about as creepy as they get.

A most revealing biography...a very long, annotated read with plenty of beef to back up the sh*t. Offered for what it's worth...after all, he may be elected president next year...and what is that old saying...'the apple never falls far from the tree?' Yep. Bet on it.

George Bush (Sr.) by Webster G. Tarpley & Anton Chaitkin

Note: I am not partial to any of the candidates...most of them have shady sides to their histories. Some are shadier than others....

I got as far as the book's first paragraph:

"The thesis of this book is simple: if George Bush were to be re- elected in November 1992 for a second term as the president of the United States, this country and the rest of the world would face a catastrophe of gigantic proportions."

Looks like we got one anyway. Whatever catastrophe Bush's reelection would have brought, I'd gladly take it over what the Presidents Clinton have done to our country for the past seven years, and shudder to think of what damage they could have done if not mitigated by a Republican Congress for the past five.

And if faced with Bush vs. Gore in 2000, I'll take the Bush catastrophe over the Gore catastrophe.

I've always felt that George Sr. was one of the most dangerous presidents we've ever had. I'm convinced that he tried to off Reagan in a coup attempt, Mr. CIA with that "lone crazed gunman" crap. HIS father, Prescott, was instrumental in arming Hitler, a lesson the son learned well and applied to Saddam. I can't imagine how anybody could possibly "like" that family, even Barbara, who knows what the hell is going on and smiles about what a nice compassionate man her hubby is.

The irony is that W. is just a dummy, a dolt, who would probably be just an average suburban Joe Sixpack who hangs out at the Rotary club if it wasn't for the family. Putting this guy in the White House will be a huge mistake (not that we're blessed with the sleaze in there now).

Let's not forget who was so very fond of talking about the New World Order, either...

If you read only one chapter...make it this one "Omaha". The word creepy does not do this man justice. Try the word perverted. Lovely, just lovely. Sorry, but for all the havoc Clinton wreaked on this country, another Bush in the White House is going to be more of the same...perhaps even more twisted. One more time "the apple never falls far from the tree".

He gives me the creeps (more than the rest who aren't much better). That thing he does with his face is so weird. Like he's going to cry or morph into an alien or something. They probably all are reptilians or walk-ins or something. They all are too weird.

I goofed...it was not Jeb Bush, it was brother Neil Bush who was involved in the Silverado Savings and Loan ripoff.

-- OR (orwelliator@biosys.net), February 23, 2000.

Yeah, OR, Neil was also involved with the Hinckley family. (as in that "coup attempt")

Ban...you've got me intrigued. Any links to substantiate?

Try the link above to the Tarpley book. It'll tell you everything you don't really want to know.

Lol Sheri! I know exactly what you mean! His facial expressions are strange. I'm not sure exactly why, but I don't trust him at all. My instincts tell me he is not being very sincere.

Reality Check!

Can anyone post anything of substance to back up your claims.

I'm really not that interested in one more person who "gets a creepy feeling about Shrubya."

The originator of this post GAVE backup...he gave an entire book!

Just went up six topics to What's With Greenspan and Gold? and found that it should have read, "What's With Greenspan, Bush, and Gold?" Try that for another scarey read. Even if half of it is true, that says a lot.

still waiting

Rick, if the information in the book (link provided in original post) were to be made widely known in the United States, how many people do you think would seriously consider "Junior" as a viable candidate? And that is not even mentioning his own shenanigans outlined in Fortunate Son by J. Hatfield.

You know the American people have been taken for a ride with Clinton and his corrupt administration. They would want absolutely nothing to do with the carbon copy son and brother of criminals. We've all had enough of cheating, lying corrupt sons of b*tches.

And, if that isn't enough for you how about the opinion of one Texas attorney...

"This file was presented to Governor George Bush Jr., the attorney general of Texas, the press, district attorneys, judges, and others in enforcement in the corrupt government in the state of Texas. President wanna-be Bush, refused and has to date DONE NOTHING as the executive officer of the state of Texas, to bring these people to justice. WHY would the U.S. want this kind of person in any office of government?"
