Heard on News Channel 5, Cleveland, Ohio:

Y2k Computer Glitch at Optical Lab

A local man was frustrated as he waited to get a new prescription for his reading glasses. He had dropped the glasses off at a nearby optical store, which sent the glasses out to an optical lab for processing.

After a few weeks had passed, the man's glasses weren't ready. Four months later, the store has admitted that there is a Year 2000 problem with the lab's computer.

He finally contacted News Channel 5's Action Team, who intervened on the customer's behalf. He now has his glasses.
