Interesting year. Weird bank problems. Computer reboot problems. Rise in local gas prices, propane up sharply, dow acting like a drunken sailor staggering home, and now this.

I had purchased a large number of liquid detergent containers prior to rollover. Started using one today. Wife person soon was having a serious suds crisis. One measure of detergent generated so much suds that it came back up the bathtub and toilet. Completely filled the septic tank.

The suds also did not dissolve. Rather stood up like a fierce merange (sp?). And all this in a cold water wash!?!

Called the 800 number on the package. Seemed that they instantly believed me that I was living "SUDS FROM HELL". They even had forms to deal with the problem. Turns out that it was the lack of a suds inhibitor in the mix that caused the effect.

Of course, this batch was made in the last week of '99. All three that I got that day are like this. They are sending out replacement coupons. Y2K bites? Who's to say, but sure is a weird year so far.
