What is the differences between Canon EF75-300mm f/4-5.6 USM IS and EF75-300mm f/4-5.6 II USM. Which one is better for Canon EOS50e

Answers

The IS has Image Stabilization. It allows you to hand hold the camera/lens at about 1/4 the speed (2 stops slower) of the non-IS version, without camera shake showing in your pictures. It works very well too. Either one will be fine on your 50e and they are about equal in image quality when mounted on a tripod. The IS is a definite improvment for hand held pictures though.
