the plan

greenspun.com : LUSENET : It's All About Joe 90: The Discussion Board : One Thread

so, jill and i were talking the other night and i mentioned my plan for spreading the joe 90 love around the boston area.

i decided i am going to have to buy a plot of land, and build a radio tower and start up a cool radio station (WJJJ, 90 FM) that plays joe 90 and counting crows (just to mix it up a bit).

THEN i'm going to build a club/bar type of thing (park hill) so joe 90 can have a place to play, duh. and thus the boston area will experience the joe 90 lovin'.

but of course, we can't do this alone. we need a whole bunch of money. and people! we have some job openings. among other positions, we need manual labor (the non-kinky kind...) and of course, directions on how to build a radio tower.

we are also looking for DJs. we decided that aimee and be in charge of all official website action. and erin, you are photo girl extraordinaire. i know the rest of the girls are multi-talented, so discuss amongst yourselves which task you'd like to call dibs on!

since this is my idea, i get the title of "boss girl". oh, i'll need a personal assistant too. i'm sure that position will be grabbed quickly, so get your applications in early, people!

send money, ideas, and resumes to the below email address. all questions, comments, and concerns are considered and entertain

so, i think this is a brilliant idea!!! i want to be a photo girl AND DJ - i used to SERIOUSLY want to go into radio broadcasting. I dedicated two useless semesters to it actually! I couldn't hack it really :x but i wrote a kick ass paper in i love lucy (dont ask). haha. yay! like, i wish we could really do this. i would move. :]

ok. hehe. i dont want to start up a new thread, so heres some random nutshelled stuff.

oh and i'm listening to bloodflowers and hoping that every had an amazing night in Long Island. I know i've said it 23094809 times, but i miss you all completley. Sue - i took a good listen to Out of This World, and i had a reaction very similar to yours. Its all snuggly in my heart. I got a little misty myself.

oh and to those that wanted copies of the cure at the palace - it went over 110 minutes and i was lazy, so i think i missed the last two songs of the encore, so please don't kill me. sorry craig :\. but it was a beautiful show. i wish i was there. prayers for rain. mm.

okay. goodnight :] erin

Jenn, since I'm your bitch can I be your personal assistant bitch? i can take the graveyard D.J.-ing job, too. That is if you can look past your sexist ways and hire a male! and seeing as i'm your personal bitch, i suppose i can throw a few kinky "manual labor" favors in there if you pay me well enough...but since prostitution isn't allowed in boston we'll have to do something about it. you can use my CDs too if you are real nice. :P had to comment. --DR P.S. Don't know about the WJJJ (jenn? jill? who?), i just thought WJOE 90 F.M. would be more prudent. :D

ooh!ooh! count me in!

can i be in charge of catering? i promise there will always be *good* pizza and real limes on hand.

i wouldn't mind helping out with the radio tower, but i'm scared of heights. i think if i got to wear one of those tool belts, though, i might get over it. and i definitely can help out with the car repairs.

i think jilly bean ought to at least be photography assistant. i know when you all see the pics she took with my camera, you'll agree. maybe she can do the color ones, and erin can be in charge of black and whites.

hey, i'm getting excited already!
