Ohio hatchery?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I saw a program on Agri-country, about a hatchery in Ohio, but can't find the name or address anywhere. Have been searching the web, last 2 hours and can't find it. Could anyone help me out? Thanks so much! Also, this site is the best - SO much information!

Anna, please do the following to find every hatchery in Ohio:

Go to WWW.uswestdex.com Type in "Hatcheries Poultry" for the category option Type in "Ohio" for the state Check mark the "and surrounding areas" box to the right.

Hit Search. I stopped counting after 20 or so. There are all there, address and phone number.

Do what Rachael says. If it doesn't work, e-mail me or come back to this site. We can find chicks for anything short of T-Rex. Good Luck! Brad

I don't know if this is the one, but I've ordered from Mt Healthy. They were very good to work with and have some awesome specials. Here's their web address: http://mthealthy.com/ Good luck, Nancy

i have used mt healthy and had very good luck .look up feathersite.com or .net i cant remember which they have a listing of hatcheries if you can find one close to you you can pick up and not have to pay the postageand you can place your order for when they have an over run or a cancelation.that way you can help keep local hatcheries going and usualy get a break on the price

I've also used Mt. Healthy hatchery. Every single chick has survived and been very productive. Their # is 513-521-6900. I know another lady that has used them for years and is very satisfied.
