I however, have time to police this board, and will spend a lot of time this week to explain to you why you should be wondering why there is so much censorship, belittling, and orchestrated slandering of the polly crowd.

I don't think that most of the people who post here are death lovers nor do they particularly hate pollies. I know I don't! I just don't like to see the threads used for arguing Y2k when this is supposed to be a forum to help like minded individuals prepare for Y2k. Help in the form of news or preparation not this tired old debate stuff. Newbies are reading these threads for the first time because they want and need to learn a great deal in a hurry about Y2k. KOS, I am slowly coming to appreciate the delete button. I realize that I have the power to read or not read certain posters efforts....and LadyLogic is fast becoming one of them.

ladyLogic...Y2kPro was banned from this forum not for his intemperate and abusive postings but for spamming the server with a high multiple of his posts in an effort to overload and down the server. That to me is deliberate sabotage and shows a full intent to damage. Frankly, if I was the owner of the server I would prosecute for malicious behavior. I believe myself to be a relatively moderate individual and slow to ire but Y2kPro had pushed my buttons quite well and I applaud the sysops for deleting him/her.

Since in 19 days or so it won't matter anyway, why don't you let it drop. At this late date, opinions matter little. Go home, kick back and just let us 'doomers' grovel in the few days of speculation we have left (if YOUR opinion is correct. If ours is correct, then you only have a few days left to relax anyway).

Ladylogic, YES, a few people here have very strong opinions about government. Try to understand, some really do believe that people ARE going to die come y2k. Emotions that are difficult to contain at times. Anger and saddness. I've felt them myself. When people in this forum speak of those feelings, you shouldn't be suprised or upset by them. If being here upsets you, it makes no sense whatsoever to me that you continue to return. Having a different opinion about y2k makes very little difference now, with so few weeks to go. I have observed your behaviour for a few days now. Having Frequented this community for the last 10 months (everyday) there have been a few notables that stand out. Unfortunately that is exactly what they intended to do---(((((STAND OUT))))).

Given the subject at hand the discussions have spanned a plethora of opinions. For the most part everyone gets along and has decent mature behaivour.

However yours is totally out of line. You know it and everyone else knows it. It is extremely inflammatory and provocative and also antagonistic.

If you go back over the threads you will also see a spirit of community that does not exist in any other forum on the Web.

I would implore you to please not go the direction you are headed. It is not necessary, unless you just gain satisfaction in destructive behaivor.

We live in a Cause and effect world, Take responsibility for being the CAUSE in this case.

'preparing', since you either don't read my posts or are simply dense, I'll answer your question. I view this forum as being made up of a lot of good people who are worried about y2k, have prepared/are still preparing for it, and rely on the forum for viable information and put too much credence in rumor, innuendo, faulty sources and personal 'feelings' about it all.

There are middle of the roaders on board. There are pollies on board. And most unfortunately, there are individuals who have histories of mental problems that will leap off of the y2k badwagon once the issue has come and gone and onto the next reason to be concerned. Their modus operandi comes down to chaos and the wonderful possibility to take to the streets and act like Rambo. They have become disenchanted with their lives and take their frustrations with their government and their society to the next extreme. Their style of argument comes down to the ideas of people dying and killing people on their property.

I have no doubt that they post ideas and items posing as news when in essence, it is material they've read in their latest GI Joe Magazine that they are all too delighted to share with the rest of the public.

Just as unfortunate, people preparing like yourself seem to look at that scum as somehow being an ally. To the intelligent outsider reading your points, they make your group appear to be somewhere in between comedic and tragic.
