Two more gasoline refineries down, gas inventories effected.

From the downstreamers petroleum board:

"Another Day, Another Two Refineries Close - More "FCC" Issues???"

In a nutshell, year-to-year (current vs. same date last year) gasoline inventory numbers appear looking worse and worse.

Interesting conjecture as to whether we are seeing SCADA-related problems with increasing frequency.

In a separate article on that board, apparently DOE Sec'y Richardson misspoke re. the quantity of imported heating oil to arrive on the east coast soon. He had said 50 million barrels; DOE techies apparently have corrected that to 15 million barrels.

"Corrected Heating Oil Import Numbers"

Ref. the SCADA issues, shouldn't we be hearing something soon coming out of hearings, committee meetings, or whatever, from Paula Gordon?

Yeehaaaa!, get the bicycle tires pumped up and the chains lubed.

P.S. I filled up the tank in my Nissan truck around the 1st of January and I still have a little less than 1/2 tank left primarily because I work at home.
