What would be a typical course study undertaken by a person in Australia to successfully complete qualifications as a sports psychologist?

I'm not sure what you mean by "typical", but the Association for the Advancement of Applied Sport Psychology (AAASPonline.org) has listed the courses required for their certification which most credible programs would be familiar with. You might also check out the "Directory of Graduate Programs in Applied Sport Psychology" published by Fitness Information Technology (fitinfotech.com) which lists programs in Australia, the US, and UK.
