Anyone of these 3 men would make a fine president. I personally support Senator John McCain. It will be interesting to watch him go toe to toe with George W. and Alan now that the others have left the stage.

I read something to the effect that the campaign financing reform that McCain is for will have the effect of keeping the people from giving to the candidates of thier choice. This, in turn, will keep the people from having anyone to vote for except those that the govenrment chooses. Sounds bad to me.

Aw, c'mon, Vern. You want me to miss "Who Wants to Marry A Millionaire" and the original "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" tonight to watch three guys who are already multimillionaires tell us how they're going to make things better for a true American yutz like me?

The last time I checked, the NYF (National Yutz Foundation) had $3.67 in the PAC treasury. Unfortunately, that doesn't buy much face time with the big boys.

I'm votin' for the Squirrel King, unless we can draft DiETeR.

Here-Here Nom. But, still must cast a vote so I can P&M. I believe if I were to vote today Mr. Keyes would get my vote simply for his stand on taxes. C.M.

Come on..... when Bush and McCain, both handpicked by the CFR, debate, it's not the 'debate of the century.' It's twittle dee and twittle dum. Of course, Alan Keyes is always worth listening to. And yes, the Supreme Court has ruled, in fact, that it is a violation of the first amendment if the people don't have the right to financially support the candidates of their choice. If campaign contributions were eliminated, you would only hear one side of the story - the side of the mainstream press: marxist socialist.

vern vern vern!

do you REALLY believe in this debate nonsense!? all this stuff is as fake as pro wrestling. politics is so corrupt it makes me sick.

the only thing that bothers me more than hearing/seeing these bastards is people who believe these criminals truly have americans best interests at heart.

sorry to be so cynical, but let's tell it like it is.

Alan Keyes will win the debate hands down but the press will not notice. What I can't figure out is why the Blacks will not support him. His ideas would be so much better for the country and for the lower income citizens of all races and all parties than the B S that the major parties put out. He is one of the few politicians who believes what he says and says what he believes. Its too bad that the American people are too stupid and selfish to understand what he is saying. Perhaps John McCain is another Jesse Ventura and the establishment is scared of him since whey the party bigwigs say jump, he does not say how high. How sad. The best man will not win.

Well so far, Keyes is the only grown-up participating.

Curly,
I think Dr. Keyes is more a "Statesman" than a "Politician".
Great man for the job of President.(IMHO)

I just had to log back on here to say after watching the majority of tonights debates...I am suddenly struck by Alan Keyes. I had no idea just how closely his ideals mirror my own. I'm glad he was able to participate, because he now has my vote in the primarys. -kritter

Keyes has ALWAYS had our votes (we voted for the Doberman)!

Curly said: "Its too bad that the American people are too stupid and selfish to understand what he (Alan Keyes) is saying."

Either they are too stupid or they are just not paying attention. If they are not paying attention they (the American sheeple, blacks, whites and browns) have got to be the most irresponsible generation in American history. More interested in sports and entertainment. You would think the liberal press would be delighted that there is a black minority in the presidential race who can debate rings around the front runner white guys. You would think that the black people would rise up to support him. But because he is God fearing, Christian, pro-life and anti-irs-unconstitutional taxes they avoid him like the plague.

The press tolerates him. Pretends like he's not there.

I voted for Alan Keys in '96 and I'll vote for him again. ...sdb (white guy)

Sbd---Sad that the American black "community" is extreme in its solidarity only for the likes of Rodney King or O.J. Simpson. If they felt the same way about Colin Powell and now Alan Keyes, they, and all of us, could have an example of their race that the world could admire and the young could emulate, outside the world of sports.

-- Ben (bcorson@dmi.net), February 16, 2000.

Firmly for Keyes! Curious how the foreign press is reporting on Keyes overseas. Anyone have a sensing?
