Thanks John. World peace one step closer. Looks like 2000 will be a very good year. Yeah right!

John,

This is the affiliation of the two parties spoken of in several places in the scriptures. This needed to happen before the peace treaty that is being worked on with Israel is finalized. See Daniel 9:27. When this is signed the tribulation clock starts. While I preped for y2k, this is what I have always kept my eyes on to let me know when TWAWKI will change.

i just wanted to see if anyone besides me, saw the significance of this event...I too prepped for Y2K, but they might well be used for a much larger event.

Watching - You also refer to.....

Matthew 24; 15-16

"So when you see standing in the Holy Place, the abonimination that causes desolation as spoken of through the Prophet Daniel -- let the reader understand--"then let those in Judea flee to the mountains."

Daniel 12:11

"From the time that the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination that causes desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days, Blessed is the one who waits for and reaches the end of 1,335 days. "

I also watch as directed by Jesus in Matthew 24:42 "Therefore keep watch, for you do not know what day the Lord will come."

Obviously, he will bring about all these things, otherwise, why would he have given us these milestones to watch for?

Questions:

Has the Vatican ever normalized relations with the nation of Israel ? Around five or ten years ago this wasn't the case.

So what are you saying in the previous post? That one is the AC and the other has the authority to sign a meaningful treaty for the state of Israel? I have trouble seeing either one as a spokesman for the Jews.

Disregard the 2nd question. I reread the posts and quit flatlining. So if we are getting close to the signing of THE TREATY who do you think will be signing ? The Pope? Al Gore? John Mc Cain? Some Russian ? Some unknown ?

I have no idea.

Progress, progress, toward the tribulation...

I, too, have my concerns as to whether I have been preparing for Y2K, hurricanes, or something far more serious... (Hint, I'm still preparing, and not cutting down on the key preps...)
