Considering the venue (Nick's Fat City) is 4 blocks from my apartment... and (please keep your fingers crossed for me) the 2/23 edition of the InPittsburgh is supposed to run a music feature I wrote on the main act's lead singer, Rob AKA "Tripper" from Buzz Poets, I'll be there unless I get run over by a mac truck or something. Actually, I'm going there tonite. Nick's is a Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame rip-off, guitars, etc, on the walls, stars on the floors, piano design on the bar counters... way cool! Please contact me for any dining etc. info. Don't expect a place you can easily get around for this gig, the Buzz poets pack 'em in and there will probably be a line out front.
