OT: can someone recommend a GOOD web-based Usenet site?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I'm looking for one that's easy to use, threaded, and keeps track of which posts I've already read. It would be nice if it kept a fair number of past posts, and wasn't toooo slow.

Thanks

Biker, It appears you are implying by using caps for 'Good' that this is not a good website. Well, It is the only one I know of that has any news. I haven't been here as long as the oldtimers, but if there was a better site than this one I am sure they would have told me and others already. What the hell are you trying to do here? Troll?

canthappen, I think biker's referring to usenet proper, which wouldn't include this site. deja.com has the potential to be good, and I think they try to track seen URLs, but I don't understand why my browser doesn't recognize viewed URLs from one session to another the way it does for the Greenspun forums. Personally, I think the Greenspun format can't be beat. I dislike mousing all around and waiting for pages to load.
