Lunacy, Common Sense and A - Or Why Conservatives Are Responsible for Ruby Ridge and Waco

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Here is another set of postings from someone who obviously is challenged in the area of critical thinking skills:

"And every one of you -- especially you wacko Christian conservatives -- who are so busy pumping for Big Brother to mind everyone's business, your turn in the barrel is coming up. (Already has -- Ruby Ridge and Waco were practice runs).

-- A (A@AisA.com), February 14, 2000"

Zog and all -- Jury Nullification is a good idea (look up "Fully Informed Jury" or FIJA on web). Unfortunately, while the jury can nullify the law by a proper vote (not guilty) in a particular case, that does nothing to get the law(s) repealed. The pigs just go arrest someone else, some piglet District Attorney on the make, with visions of becoming Attorney General, is only too happy to prosecute. The only way to get the pigs to back off is to make it personally unattractive to them to be the a*holes they are. And to make it personally unattractive for all the Christian conservative a*holes to support the war on drugs and other interferences with freedom.

I don't recall conservatives actively applauding and encouraging intrusion into everyone's freedoms, let alone Waco and Ruby Ridge. Nor do I recall conservative organizations actively applauding a "shoot first and ask questions later" approach to home searches. Do you? Correct me if I'm wrong, but this poster appears out of touch with reality. But I do recall conservative organizations opposing the National ID Card. So what do you think?

X, you're right obviously, but what I don't understand is why you spent at least five minutes of your valuable time responding to this drivel when you could be responding to someone who actually makes a point.

-- Markus Archus (markus@archus.com), February 14, 2000.

What you doofuses don't realize is that your empowering the pigs to war on "drugs, sex, and rock 'n roll" has created a monster that has and will continue to ream you conservatives as well as others. You think it's great when the pigs bust a druggie, or zone out a porno movie house, or anally probe a tourist, or catch a "tax cheat", then you cry when the machine turns on you.

But then, both conservatives and liberals lack critical thinking skills.

-- A (A@AisA.com), February 14, 2000.

Marcus I totally agree with your point but on the other hand I have seen this forum immediately attack any poster showing bigotry or jew bashing. Which I applaud the forum for doing so. It seems when Christian bashing goes on this is sometimes acceptible just by the silence. Just an observation.

"your turn in the barrel is coming up"

I thought it was illegal to threaten people online? Isn't this a felony?

-- Hokie (Hokie_@hotmail.com), February 14, 2000.

Is this A@AisA.com person the large gas leak everyone is talking about?

-- bambikahn (question46@gasbag.com), February 14, 2000.

A, you are dead on. Both the cons and libs are primarily composed of morally superior(so they think) people. If either grabs power, the opposing party will convert to the winning side, and it will be death for free thinkers. Let those who disagree tell me how Hitler's Germany or the Spanish Inquisition can't happen here.

-- canthappen (n@ysayer.com), February 14, 2000.

Mark:

You're right. Apparently A thinks everyone is the enemy. I don't like big government either, but it's apparent that anyone who doesn't agree with A is the enemy. Paranoia has that kind of effect on people.

-- X (X@X.com), February 14, 2000.

Mark and X -- If you are conservative christian fascists or liberal atheist socialists (leftwing fascists), yes you are my enemies.

Any meddling, busybody, moralist who seeks to use the power of the state to implement their little pet agendas and force them on me, is my enemy.

And what you doofuses don't seem to understand is that the state (government/people in government) LOVE to have power -- and in case you are too stupid to realize it,that means power over YOU as well as me. The right wants more programs and controls? YES! says the government. The left wants more programs and controls? YES! says the government. All the better to control BOTH of you. But, as conservatives and liberals, you are too stupid to perceive the reality of your stupidty and how the government loves to play you both.

Bottom line -- Mind you own f*in business. Anyone that doesn't is everyone's enemy, in the long run, not just mine.

If you have any questions or comments, forget it -- you obviously lack the intelligence to assimilate what's here so far; additional input would even confuse you more.

-- A (A@AisA.com), February 15, 2000.

A,

Here is some input for you. Not every conservative Christian wants to stop you from smoking dope all day long. The conservative Christians that I know want LESS government, not more government. You are truly a confused person to paint conservative Christians with such a broad stroke. Now read the following VERY carefully.

J is a conservative Christian.

J thinks big government is BAD.

See if you can figure out through the haze in your mind why your statements are wrong.

-- J (Y2J@home.comm), February 15, 2000.

The conservative Christians that I know, and they are many, are staunch Constitutionalists, who want Big Brother to stop taking away our freedoms, and who wish us to put our votes and our protests where they will do the most good. I live just outside DC, and we are VERY politically aware around the Beltway, many of these Christian friends are also in government and military positions, and they do not like the direction our government has taken. Also, they are horrified at what happened at Waco and Ruby Ridge!

Bigotry is bigotry, and your statements, A, are pure bigotry!

A,

You sound like a person who has been on the receiving end and can't get past your anger at the injustice. I have news for you; you are not alone! Many, many people have been screwed by the .gov, at work,in love affairs. Your views are shared by many on this forum. Get past your hate and recognize your philosophical allies.

-- Mr. Pinochle (pinochledd@aol.com), February 15, 2000.

People, dont waste your time on this A is Anal a**wipe. This disturbed moron has a long history on this forum and it aint pretty. He/She/It sounds like an old burn-out acid head venting over all of the busts down through the years. This thing will surely OD soon and put itself out of its misery, not to mention ours.
