We are the sheeple. We have ruled this world for thousands of years. We are the dominant species. Give ear, O fools who do not comprehend us. We subject all things to our two imperativessurvive and multiply. You who have questioned our abilities to see and avoid peril stand rebuked. You fret about foolish things like Y2K and New World Orders. Be still and observe the nature of things. Learn from the world that surrounds you. We care nothing for calamities. We prosper from them. Destroy us by the millions, we adapt and return. Like locusts, we sweep all before us. You who look at us through eyes of mere decades cannot grasp the power we wield. As the queen bee creates the drones amid the workers, we create prophets and despots. They are but specialized instruments to do our bidding. Roll the names of a thousand tyrants off your tonguenone has done more than cull the flock, push the slow, remove the weak. Your lack of understanding springs from your obsession with the individual. We care nothing for the individual. We are the sheeple. We care nothing of right and wrong. We exist to exist. Question the trees for purpose. We feed good and evil together. They grow fat off our labors and we use their skills to gain more control over existence. We do not fear or rejoice en masse. We created you to fret for the flock. Can the hoof rule the body? The complacency you decry is our nature. We are nature. Your actions serve the whole in ways you cannot comprehend. Cease to pout because we did not fear. We replicate supreme. All is right with the universe.
