Has anybody out there managed to get a mortgage after having a repo? What problems did you encounter, do you have any advice on the pitfalls? Any help, much appreciated.

HI JOANNE IN ANSWER TO YOUR QUERY YES WE DID MANAGE TO GET ANOTHER MORTGAGE AFTER BEING REPOSSESED. FIND A GOOD INDEPENDENT MORTGAGE BROKER AND EXPLAIN YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES AS WE DID AT HIS FIRST ATTEMPT HE OBTAINED A MORTGAGE FOR US THERE IS ALLWAYS SOME ONE WHO WILL HELP,, DONT TAKE NO FOR THE ANSWER, BUT YOU DONT WHANT TOO MANY CREIT CHECKS

Purchasing a home after an auto repossession

I had excellent credit but due to a marital separation I had to give up my auto for repo. I want to purchase a home and have been told that now I have to wait till repo is out of my credit report which is 7 years. Please help. Can I have the tel. no of the independant mortage broker you mentioned to Joanne.
