NEAR will reach Eros and go into orbit on 14 February 2000. The orbit insertion burn will take place at 15:33 UT (10:33 a.m. EST) and confirmation of orbit insertion is expected at 16:30 UT (11:30 a.m. EST). There will be live coverage of the Mission Operations Center from 9:15 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. EST and a press briefing at 2:00 p.m. EST on Monday on NASA TV.
