Unconfirmed fears...

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MR2 : One Thread

Hi, I'm Justice. Nice ter meet yer. Anyways, here's my only real question, and (GASP) it has nothing to do with MR2 the game, just this Q&A forum. I've been frequenting other MR2 Q&A forums, and they've given me some really stupid answers to my questions. If I were to frequent this message board, would there be truthful answers? Hopefully? And does anyone have any clue how to get a monster's loyalty really high? None of my monsters's loyalty ever seem to creep above 75 and it's starting to grate on my nerves...

You can keep your monsters style at even and if it goes down just feed it a smoked snake or punish it when it doesn't finish a drill.

Yes you would get truthful answers here. You can get your monster loyalty really high:

1. By keeping your raising style on "Even"

2. By feeding it what it likes at the end of each month (preferably tablets)

3. By not resting it too much. To much rest makes a monster become lazy and makes loyalty not go up that much.

4. By saving before you feed it a Magic Bananna. If your monster's loyalty doesn't go up by 10 reset and try again. When using Magic Banannas your monster's loyalty can eiter go -10, -5, +5, or +10. 5. By making sure your monster doesn't just stay on your farm the whole time. Send it on errantries (if it is going to learn a move, for sure. Unless you don't care if a learns moves or not) and fighting your monster in battles. All this stuff works really well to raise a monster's loyalty. Especially if you do this stuff and keep your raising style "Even".

Thanks! One problem, though: my Phoenix (the monster I'm working with right now) is a freaking BOY SCOUT. He doesn't not finish drills, he constantly gets "Great!" on them. For heaven's sake, he cheers when I make him do drills! What on earth can I punish him for?

If your monster asks for something a lot of the times I don't give it to him. This helps keep your monster on even. If it does good praise it maybe every once in a while don't praise it. And if your raising style get soft, or more than that feed your monster a Smoked Snake. This should keep your monster in line and its loyalty will go up easier.Yeah a Smoked Snake might drop your monster's loyalty, but it will make it even and make its loyalty go up easier.
