This is a great place for financial tips. One year ago, the geniuses here were telling everyone to pull out of a booming stock market.

If you value you're money, run, don't walk from here.

Yahoo...no. If you like computers and the Internet, try one (or more) of these: Motorola,Hall,Kinion & Assoc., ADC Telecom, Mastech,Interliant, Exodus.com, TheGlobe.com inc., Funco inc., and Watchguard Technologies. Two you might watch are a company called Tellme and one called Norsam Technologies-neither has had an IPO yet.

Gold mining stock of lightly hedged US mines like Homestake. They are in position to run and could become tomorrow's bubble.com.

If you don't like stocks they are some limite partenership shares in USA gold and silver mining companies.

Producing oil or gas wells should do very nice in 2000 also.

So you want to invest some money, good you finally made a decision. And you want something to hold for at least 4-5 yrs. Look up this company: AVA it manufactures fuel cells, so does Ballard company, symbol unknown. Also try MRK a drug company that is one of two major players not bought out yet. Something else to look at is AT&T , and please rememeber my finders fee is a flat 15% of investment totals.

AVA=Avista corp (NYSE); BLDP=Ballard Power Systems Inc (NASDAQ) Ballard is a Canadian company with French and Japanese investor/partners.
