How do I release the stop down lever on the canon t90

I think you need to push it a bit more and it will pop up, just like most of the pushbuttons operate (e.g. on lamps). It should not require very much power unless something is broken. VP

I asume you mean the lever that stops down then lens and shows depth of field. the lever is the lower right of the lens as you look at the camera. The lever has 2 positions off and on. Push the lever towards the lens to engage it. Push it toward the lens again and it should move all the way back to the off position.
