there will be carping and griping about this, of course......... to me the most stupendous thing in my life was franklin delano roosevelt instituting the moves that were about the only thing that kept this country going. that's magic

One of my favorite tricks was one Penn & Teller showed the workings of, on one of their specials.

A person lies down in the street and a semi tractor trailer runs over him.

How it was done? The tires are just big inner tubes modified enough to look like tires. A heavy weight is attached to the side of the truck we can't see as a counter-balence causing it to be just short of weightless on the side that runs over the person.
