RUSSIA, NORTH KOREA SIGN NEW TREATY

MOSCOW/PYONGYANG . Feb 9 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov arrived in Pyongyang on Wednesday and signed a new treaty of friendship, good-neighbor relations and cooperation with North Korea on behalf of the Russian Cabinet.

Ivanov arrived with a message from acting Russian President Vladimir Putin to North Korean leader Kim Jong Il.

The new treaty "removes ideology from the relations between the two countries and is not aimed against any third countries," diplomatic sources have told Interfax.

Ivanov is not scheduled to meet with Kim Jong Il himself, but such a meeting could take place if the North Koreans wish, the sources said.

the russian bear is about to reclaim more of its former territory. it will not stop with chechenya. they are also moving toward china as allies OR (axis). they are very agaist US domination. look for both countries to start challangeing the US all over the the world.I think the first will be iraq, because russia is now stationing warships there, it could also be in kosovo, but the us seems to be laying off a bit, but if iraq heats things up , there may be poblems in kosovo i pretty short order. then north korea may attack the s. korea. china will invade tawian. this prediction was on world net dailey last summer entiled "saddams revenge" ( i think thats where it was), but it seems all things are falling into place rapidly. there where going to do this to spread american forces thin, then do some use weapons of mass destruction in usa territory, then possible an all out assault if we hadnt capitulated to there demands. again i dont know if this is true but i did read it last summer and things seem to be falling in place. all four countries (russia, china, iraq, and n. korea) are mobalizing there armies. we are also agrievating them with missle defense and other things. a showdown or at least a return to the cold war seems well underway. no offense but this could be more dangerous than y2k and bears some close watching. (no pun intended)

This forum has added much depth to my understanding of the big issues facing the world and our nation in particular. Concerning intelligence and IT matters, I am a layman. Unlike so many who take time to share informed opinions and incontovertible facts, I can't add much substance to the discussions. But, from time to time, I and others like me are able to toss in a couple of coins.

Well, I'm going to spend my two cents with a question. Is there reason to suspect something sneaky about the chinese shipping company's Panama Canal and Freeport, Bahamas operations. The Cuban missle crisis reminded many Americans to the risk of having hostile neighbors.

Is this developing confederacy of American haters succeeding at establishing an American beach-head? Maybe I'm way of base, I hope so. Please help.
