Name:Fishing Ontario's Near North and surrounding areas. URL: http://www.fishinontario.com/. By Fish in Ontario. Rating **

Review: This is an o.k site, that gives information on Lake Ontario and the fish that are located in that lake. It also gives other links to different site about the fish in the lake. The most interesting part was the fact that there are 180 native fish in Canada, 144 of them are found in Lake Ontario. This would be a good site to learn more about the fish and Ontario.

I found one of the answers already psted above. It is the Great lakes Fishery commission page.(url:http://www.glfc.org/)This website gives two missions:to develop coordinated programs of research on the great lakes and to formulate and implement a program to eradicate sea lamprey populations in the great lakes. It also gives a variety of subjects like fishery management, lake committees, and research to go to. A list of hot topics is also provided. You can also click on up and coming meetings if you are interested. I like the way that this website is organized. It is easy to get to whereever you want to go and at the same time is visually pleasing.
