For Some of the newbies here that don't know who E. Coli is, and the enjoyment of the regulars who do, I found this compelling and enlightened post from Feb. 99 by E. Coli. As a non-posting neutral observer of this forum since near it's inception, I must say that this person made me think deeply about society and government. Good luck to you where ever you are E.

I have just about given up. I'm just going to let the totalitarian boot stamp down on you all and take my chances elsewhere. If you want a military police state, I'm not going to stand in your way. Maybe my insider friend is right: "Look at voter apathy: democracy's time has passed. People don't want freedom. They want to be held and protected like the infants they are." Am I to stand in the breach and lay down my life for THAT? I don't think so.

Hardliner admits in an earlier thread that the "Feds were up to their eyeballs" (did I get that right, H.?) in the OK bombing. Now those same feds are telling us that we need some of the most draconian martial law plans imaginable (the E.O.s) to cope with "cyberterrorism"(Y2k) and NBC threats. The fact is, we can no longer assume that any terrorist act is not a "Gulf of Tonkin" or "OK Bomb" incident, initiated by the Feds to justify the restructuring of the Republic into the highly controlled police state they so obviously desire. If you dismiss Waco as an isolated "mistake," if you aren't familiar with asset forfeiture and the other violations of the Constitution under the cloak of the "drug war", if you haven't been watching our sovereignty being systematically dissolved with NAFTA, GATT, and other one-world ploys, this restructuring is clearly spelled out in the E.O.s. It includes government control of resources, information, transport; it includes the drafting of civilian labor (we used to call this "slavery"), and the separation of families, if deemed necessary by unelected officials. It includes provisions for the military to control television broadcasts and print media. Now we have Marines flying black, unmarked helecopters over American cities, running invasion exercises, NOT to train in urban warfare for use in other countries as an emerging trend, but by their own admission mapping streets, gas lines, electrical and sewer lines, FOR AN EVENTUAL DOMESTIC STATE OF EMERGENCY, like OK City. And "black helecopters" is still a term of ridicule that can be used to dismiss argument. I don't care anymore. When it happens, just remember that you laughed at the people that were trying to warn you. That's really the best thing that I can see coming out of the situation, for the next few hundred years, anyway. Just a little honesty, after the fact. Because it's clear that nothing's going to prevent this from going down.

All you have to do is think: we are giving the likes of Clinton, Janet Reno, et al, (who are, as Nikoli says, part of a much larger, imponderably rich and powerful clique, who have stated their intention to make the U.S. subject to a supernational "New World Order") absolute power. And absolute power does what? Anybody?

What's happening is the worst nightmare of the framers. It is indeed the "Last Dance." And you know what they're going to do to us after they take us home.

After Y2k, no one can hear you scream. After martial law is in effect, "the whole world ISN'T watching." Once freedom of speech and assembly and gun ownership are suspended, IT'S OVER, virtually FOREVER. Add the survelliance and crowd-control technologies into this scenario. This time, they're not fucking around. There is a reason that the E.O.s contain NO PROVISION FOR RESTORING CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT. Reason: the U.S. Constitution is an impediment to World Order - as Nikoli notes, our own President has said as much. What more do you need? Quibble away about the exact meaning of this or that press release, blah, blah, blah. It's over. The best you can do now is remember. Admit to your children that you lost it for them. Plant some seeds for the future.

As for Hardliner's defense of "chumming". All one has to do is drop the phrase "child molesters" and ENTRAPMENT becomes a noble exercise. The local park and video game parlor are rife with pedophiles; they can catch more through conventional means, and do it more cheaply. The endlessly publicized "internet pedophile" stories exist to MAKE US FEAR UNFILTERED DATA. "The internet is full of porno. The internet is full of info on bomb-making. Your child will be seduced and run away to their doom if allowed to surf the internet. The internet needs to be controlled and policed and filtered to keep you safe." ad nauseam. Every print and broadcast journalist has an interest in stifling the net. Every FBI agent, too - it represents more territory to police and more justification for expanded powers. It's a threat to good order. We'll be hearing a lot about the need for order in the years following Y2k. Maybe the centuries following Y2k.

You clearly have no idea what you're surrendering, and to whom. On this score, you're repeating the polyanna's non-argument: "ultimately we just don't know what will happen." Listen to yourselves.

Here's another classic from E. I'm strolling down memory lane in the archives tonight. Does'nt matter if you concur with E.'s views or not, this style makes one THINK. I sure do miss E.

I don't think you're Pollyanna, Melissa. As long as we don't let globalists take our Constitution away, we'll have hope. I don't think we need to make "something better" - we need to reclaim what we already have. There is nothing better than the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. If we ever had any virtue to lose, it was because of this document, and the freedoms it guarantees us under law. The Constitution is supposed to be the "Supreme Law of the Land." But it's being shamelessly trampled. We all need to study the Constitution and the roots of our democracy, get active in our local, community governmen and spend time talking with our neighbors. I think we should all be armed and ready to resist tyranny; but also be aware of agents provocateurs. A heavily armed, scary, ideology-spouting "right wing militia threat" is just what they want to show on the evening news, and that's why they are provoking these groups to outrageous and fraudulent acts, depicting them as racist or religiously crazed - or trying to. Some few of them are, and those are the ones that are funded, provoked and given media coverage. People calmly and firmly insisting on their rights under the Consitution, their rights to speak, publish, assemble, worship, keep and bear arms, etc., will make a difference. If we educate ourselves and eachother. If we don't, we're lost. Be patient with your neighbors who have different religious or political beliefs, who look different, etc.; if we can agree on preserving our Constitution, that's enough for the crisis at hand. If you ever feel discouraged or insignificant in this struggle, here's something my gran used to say to me: "For want of the nail, the shoe was lost; for want of the shoe, the horse was lost; for want of the horse, the battle was lost; for want of the battle, the war was lost - and all for the want of a horseshoe nail." You are that horseshoe nail. Your decision to break out of your comfort zone and begin to change things, right where you are, can be the difference between losing or winning back constitutional democracy in America.

The U.S. is not in some other dimension, A., (though I've heard they can do that ;) ); it's been stolen by international financial interests, and is being submerged, dissolved, in a globalist, socialist agenda (the motherlode for this information is "And the Truth Shall Set You Free" by David Icke; I implore you all to buy this and read it. He's a former BBC reporter, has a few odd spiritual beliefs, but priceless research and suggestions for further reading). I used to be a globalist, and a socialist; until I found out that the power behind it is the same elite that has been manipulating our planet for generations, through many political systems. What they are implementing is called "Fabian" socialism, as opposed to revolutionary socialism: gradual, steady undermining of resistance through force and guile, rather than storming the barricades (check out the fabians involved in the roots of the globalist movement). They are not "right wing" or "left wing." Political ideologies are instruments they construct, in order to divide and manipulate nations, and sustain the rule of their bloodlines and continuity of their family traditions. They are engaged in a multi-generational project to create a world government. Most of the people they are using have a high sense of purpose, and believe they are saving mankind from war and starvation; they don't realize, or don't care, that individual liberty will be dispensed with and forgotton as soon as it's practicable to do so. These entities could care less about human freedom, dignity, or suffering. They've engineered two world wars not to create peace, but to herd humanity into the same pen, and concentrate the wealth of the world in the hands of a few. They are "socialist" on the surface, and oligarchs underneath. This quote sums up what's happening at this stage in the game:

Populations will more readily abandon their national loyalties to a vague regional loyalty than they will for a world authority. Later, the regionals can be brought all the way into a single world dictatorship." -Joseph Stalin, "Marxism and the National Question" 1942

This is what the North American "trade block" plan is all about. It will follow the same pattern as the European Union, which is now out of the control of it's hostage member-states. This is what Hitler wanted, what his fight was all about; is it coincidence that he was funded by the same international banking families that are behind the E.U.? This is just one thread in a very rich tapestry. Doubtful? Check it out.

The internet is a real thorn in the side of this whole plan, that's one reason why I don't expect everthing to be allowed back on line the way it was before Y2k. They don't want people with "dangerous ideas" networking, and they want to make profoundly unconstitutional regional trade and investment deals -like GATT, and the MAI- without public scrutiny or discussion. Expect more "scandal" and noise, less news - until they shut it all down.

If I remember correctly, it was E. Coli who came back to us late 1999 to disclose that he had morphed into Blue Himalayan and then into Count Vronsky as his views about y2k evolved during that period. I have not been able to find that link. It would make for interesting reading in light of these essays that Jeff has reposted. Anyone?
