I've got a Cannon REBEL XG. Do you know why do I get a BC error in the display of my camera. My batteries seem to be ok. The user manual included with the camera is not very explicit about this.

Well. one obvious answer is that it may be broken.

Another cause of "BC" type errors is problems with the contacts between the lens and the camera body. Cleaning the contacts may help.
