BALTIMORE (February 3, 2000 9:23 a.m. EST http://www.nandotimes.com) - Defying odds of about one in 50 million, a woman has given birth to triplets for the second time in less than two years.

Crystal Cornick, 19, who was not using fertility drugs, gave birth Tuesday to her fourth, fifth and sixth children at the University of Maryland Hospital. Doctors say Cornick and her babies should be able to go home in a week or two.

Cornick and her fiance, Richard Williams, 22, said they were in shock when they learned they were having triplets again.

"I was at work, she called me ... and said we're having triplets. I said, `No, you're lying, stop lying,"' Williams said.

Cornick said her pastor helped reassure her.

"He said your children are a blessing and you should feel lucky to have them, because some people can't have children and you're lucky to be blessed with three at once," Cornick said. "So that kind of put me at ease."

The children, Ariel, Tyler and Tyree, were in stable condition Thursday morning in the hospital's neonatal intensive care unit.

Lots of wonderful blessing, 6,000,000,000 and counting!

Lt's hope her fiance marries her now, and that he can provide for all these children.

Hopefully the older triplets will be potty trained soon!

Having had three in diapers at one time sure isn't fun. Nope, all six of mine were singles...the [at the time] 3 yr. old was just in NO hurry to be toilet trained ~:O
