Fallen from the sky?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I have a question for anyone who wants to answer it and please correct me if I am wrong... Its it strange that most of the aircraft that has "fallen from the sky" has been over water??? I know that most airline accidents happen during take off or landing.. but I thought it very strange that the most suspicious ones have been over water... any thoughts???

Be interesting to plot satellite positions in relation to downed aircraft. If someone has time maybe they can check the down list posted on an earlier thread and chart locations of crashes and or where problem initially began for craft. Actually, this would be a good science project for older children. Oldest in school we have is only seven- anyone got junior high or high school age kids that might be interested?

Will work on this after I get home. You folks enjoy the day and keep up the excellent work.

Peter Pan,

Lay off the dust long enough to tell me if you think the HAARP project might be involved. Just a simple yes or no.

The pilots are brave men and should be remembered as heroes because they are saving lives on the ground.

during a media briefing from the guy running the ntsb recovery operation, there was information shared from the discussion the pilots had with the air traffic controllers. they asked to be given a block of airspace over water so they could try to fix the stablizer problem. a reporter asked the ntsb spokeman why they would have asked this and he declined to speculate.

could it be that when you do something like this you prefer not to injure people on the ground needlessly?

Passengers won't notice changes in altitude etc. as much over water as they would over land.

It's like Y2K. Avoid panic is job #1.
