Debunking Y2K is ***CENSORED***. PASSWORD required!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

After all the grief they've given us about censorship and going to a protected forum or whatever! Hypocrites!!! Forget about reading any past posts over there - you'll be asked for a password. If you don't give it:

"Authorization Required

This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required."

For now, it seems you can read the last page without a password.

Sysops, don't ever defend or explain your actions to anyone again! I can't wait to see the justification for THIS.

The EPA required it. There was too much pollution seeping out.

Amazing how fast it was removed, hmmm?

At least the farewell page is still up. Check it out, Uncle Deedah posted and a couple other names you will recognize from TB2000.

Worked okay for me and didn't ask for a password. Maybe it is your browser.

I was there 20 minutes ago and you had to have a password. I'll go back and try again.

-- bardou (bardou@baloney.com), February 02, 2000.

I went to check and got the warning notice. A few minutes later I could access without a problem. Perhaps they're just in the process of setting it up.

-- Old Git (anon@spamproblems.com), February 02, 2000.

They won't set it up now because we found them out and called them on it.

Too Bad...I really wanted to say good bye to those snot sucking pucks.

But now I can't, darn. So many insults, so little time. Oh well, I just hope that if anything breaks ANYWHERE (due to y2k) that it lands immovably on top of them. Shutting out both light and ether.

Of course, I wouldn't say anything about their mommas, but their daddies are German Shepherds. Adios you fungus and vermin. You vile and wretched hive of unnatural rubbish.

Go find yourselves again, you scurrilous excuse for a waste of skin.

I'm sorry if I left anyone out.

Let me see here: We have a PRIVATE forum [meaning supported by ONE person's purse and effort.] We have a forum that is CLOSED down. Personally, I'm amazed that I'm not getting an Error 404 when I click on the link.

You hit the nail on the head, snooze button!!

-- (hal@gostek.org), February 02, 2000.

Oh, please! Haven't you people learned anything from Y2K? Jumping to conclusions just gets you in trouble. The board is closed. Maybe Doc Paulie was working on something and he temporarily restricted access.

And don't get me started on the fact that the originator of this thread used a troll handle.

Later.

DeBunkie was never more than a Digital Fireplug, cowering and fearful that another dog would sniff it and then salute.

-- woof woof (woof.woof@woof.woof), February 02, 2000.

I got into the archives, however, page 5 is under "reconstruction," - it's a blank page. And page 7 seems to be messed up.

-- bardou (bardou@baloney.com), February 02, 2000.

Sounds like a bit of "history revision" going on there.

-- (hal@gostek.org), February 02, 2000.

Buddy (is that your real name?), I did not JUMP to any conclusion. I went to the site, clicked on a post from the second to last page and a box appeared, asking me for name and password. When I clicked further (without filling in the spaces), I got the same "Authorization Requied" message as reproduced above. At the time I attempted access, the site DID require a password.

Anita, as proud as debunkers are of the material at the site, I'm sure if Doc passed the hat he'd get more than enough change to keep the board up for posterity.

De Bunker is going down

Now you understand why they have Lather/Rinse and Repeat on them bottles, some it seems are THAT stupid.

Dumb LUCK is the best brainfart reply so far, ROLFLMAO.

BTW, only thing going here is the INTERACTIVE Webboard, the rest stays and I will be adding material.

LOL! Is Buddy my real name? No, but it is my real nick-name. Is "Old Git" your real name?

-- Buddy (buddydc@go.com), February 02, 2000.

No, Old Git is not my real name but it was given to me by someone on this forum and now my family and friends use it.

-- Old Git (anon@spamproblems.com), February 02, 2000.

Old Git:

Nah. Debunkers who are interested in seeing the purveyors of Y2k collapse exposed and condemned still have BIFFY on which to meet those goals.

Other debunkers are feeling a bit of withdrawal...much like you folks experienced when TB2000 had problems pre-rollover. For most of us, however, Y2k discussion is drawing to a close. The Y2k freezes are being lifted and ... what am I doing here discussing Y2k when I have an interview tomorrow morning?

-- Anita (notgiving@anymore.com), February 02, 2000.

Y2K Pro (less) YOU are WRONG AGAIN !!!

I have not been ripped there because I have not gone there to be ripped. It was probably you impersonating me trying to stir up trouble. That's about ALL you're good for.

So, put a sock in it you shiftless scum.
