We have been concerned about how the government would be able to handle all the various checks it sends out each month. So to anyone and everyone who recieve these: have you gotten them? Is the system working?

My military retirement pay from Defense Finance and Accounting Service -Cleveland Office (DFAS-CL) was on-time and correct. Electronically transmitted to my bank through FEDLink. I'm so happy!

Pam .... As someone said in another thread , they printed the Janruary check in December , AND distributed early ; i.e. I got mine ( cash in hand ) Dec. 30th . They COULD have printed the February checks EARLY too ; therefore , we don't know with the MAILED ones , but we will know with the electronic ones ( direct to bank ) , BUT not till the 3rd . Eagle

My mom gets her social security check via EFT. It HAS NOT arrived yet (this is the evening of the 2nd). Now, due to the bouncing check charges she is going to inevitably get, she probably won't have ANY money left for the rest of the month. JUST GREAT!

My 2/1/00 state of Texas paycheck was on time and accurate. First paycheck this year, as the 1/1/00 check had been drafted 12/30/99.
