Whats wrong with this picture?

Recognizing the need for a new generation of farmers, King County government has begun training young farmers and matching them with local farmland. The training, part of the Farmlink program designed to protect the county's dwindling agricultural industry, began this year with a $60,000 budget and a handful of initial trainees.

Nothing seems to be wrong with this picture.

The majority of people living, farming and raising livestock in rural King County presented enough signitures to form their own county. It was going to be named Cedar County. But we know what happened with that issue.

$60,000 seems to be just a token from King County. The "See...we are listening to all people, not just the folks in town." It's unfortunate KC would not let us form our own county and let us support our different needs in the rural areas. But we know they needed my tax dollars for their sports stadiums. Hey...do you think KC would help me with a riding arena?

So you want them to spend $60,000 to teach you how to farm?
