okay, so it's like 3:00 on Sunday afternoon and we're not feeling too good. a bottle of Kalu-HA with the handle and many (many, many) beers will do that to a person.

thank you to Kristin and Erin for leaving a fun message on the answering machine last night from the Warfield, and for calling back this morning and giving us the scoop on the show. it was really nice that you guys took time out to think of us. thank you :)

our west haven 1/29 review: went to lunch and ate too much. shopping for hours upon hours. stopped at liquor store. returned home and began to drink excessively.

WARNING: if you're going to be drinking anything aloholic in huge quantities while getting ready in my bathroom to go out, please, for the love of god, do NOT listen to hanginaround really loudly and attempt to recreate the infamous DeRosa dance moves. what might happen is this -- you could say...oh...hypothetically...you might like go to do that crazy ass Gary arm clap swinging thing, hit your head on the big wooden shelf/towel rack hanging on the wall, and have it come crashing down upon the floor, breaking and smashing 1/2 the contents of my lovely rest room all over the floor. (okay, so it wasn't really that bad.) now, this of course is a hypothetical situation. and a warning. not that either of us would know how painful it actually is, or how much noise it actually makes. and in our hypothetical little world, we wouldn't know which one of us hypothetically banged her pretty blonde head. ahem.

yeah, so the review of our evening. at about 11:00 we headed to a scary karaoke bar here in west haven. highlights of the evening included barth singing hanginaround (coincidence? i think not), the hickey guy (who i swear i didn't dance with to Britney Spears, i don't care what Sue might tell you), the Mark Walberg look-alike who came up to us and said, "so, it's cool if you are, ya know...but i was wondering...are you lesbians?", and the long haired and droolable Led Zeppelin guy. yeahbaby. oh. and Kevin Spacey was there. i swear.

so...you guys may have been in SF, but...WE HAD MORE FUN!

we're not feeling very good, so it's time to go.

hi...it's me sue. i think i'm gonna puke. in other news, aimee is a BAD BAD BAD influence. i never imagined i would be sitting in a bar in CT screaming "you've got to fight for your right to party" with a bunch of karaoke freaks. i also never thought i would see aimee bumping and grinding with a scary red-headed guy with a hickey to "hit me baby one more time". oh. my. god. comedy at it's best!

Well it sounds like it was an unfortgetable evening in CT last night. I hope everyone has an easy recovery from the Kaluha Karaoke fest and that someone's pretty blonde head is doing all right.

I don't know about the Asbury Park peepshows but, Aimee doing another rendition of the "Hickey" dance might be worth the price of admission.

counting crows and live...even though i am not a big live fan, i got all excited wheni read this b/c i knew JILL would be freaking out and falling over. it's all about boston in the summer!
