Before the rollover, the "experts" were saying the remediation times for the oil industry embeddeds runs usually at least 2 months, maybe 4, if they can get to them. Refineries obviously more accessible than underwater wells. The official Venezuela statement said they'd be down 35 days ( supply USA east coast) so my vote is to double that at least. But hopefully by summer it'll be over.

If You have been in Europe lately, have You noticed the almost total changeover to Diesel, from Buses,Trucks to the smallest Passenger Cars??The amazing Thing,You can stand at a Bus Stop, see no smoke and barely smell the Exhaust. Now, You come to this Country,You diasppear in Smoke at the Bus Stop, see huge Clouds of Smoke at every Traffic Light, and pay these obscene Prices for a Gasoline "Byproduct".The Industry Hoods have for Years succesfully sabotaged the Development and Advance of the Diesel Engine. Why??GREED,what else??My Diesel Standby 7HP Generator runs from 5 to 7.5 HRS on ONE Gallon of Diesel Fuel, try to match that with a Gas Job,not to mention the Safety of Diesel.

OT, but fyi: Hampton Roads VA local tv news reports home heating oil rose 40 cents above the price last year at this time. Reports it was at an all time low one month ago, but didn't give that figure.

US buses are mostly owned by guvmint, which doesn't feel it's vehicles should have to abide by it's pollution regulations. Also oil industry "influence" in guvmint. Arkansas has long been a Rockefeller fiefdom. Winthrop Rockefeller was governor. William Fulbright, longtime chairman of Senate Foreign Relations Committee and Rockefeller houseboy, was the political patron of an obscure little hustler named Bill Clinton.
