Why don't the boy scouts recycle newspapers these days?

I think they don't usually do this because newsprint prices are so low, it's too much effort (newspapes are bulky) for too little money. But I could be wrong.

its easier to collect empty cans, here in Mich,, its 10 cents a peice,, even without the deposit,, aluminum is worth more per pound than paper,, and paper is too much work :)
