More Airline Problems?

I received this by e-mail yesterday, so take it for what it's worth - an unsubstantiated report. However, for an unsubstantiated report, it is certainly specific enough.

Air Canada Flight AC93 from Aruba to Toronto January 22 was somewhat disconcerting with the cabin lights, reading lights, and seatbelt warning lights flashing on and off in different sections of the cabin throughout most of the flight. No explanation was offered to the passengers from the flight deck and all else about the flight aboard the Airbus 320 seemed normal. Wierd huh?

There was a story on a flight a couple of weeks ago with a similar problem, lights went out and stayed out except for emergency lights. I'll see if I can find the link.

steve, is there a link for this or were you or someone you know onboard? i am keeping a record of airline events, so would appreciate a link if there is one.

I monitor a few aviation safety boards that discuss aviation accidents and incidents past and present. Lots of industry experts on these boards. Suggest you consult avweb, yahoo boards, etc., if you haven't done so already.

Boop:

No, I don't have a link. It was simply an e-mail I received, so I wouldn't put it down as any kind of confirmed report.
