Received a forwarded Letter, addressed to a Wesley Vanderhorst,207 Old Country RD.,Wenham,MA here in Florida today,it had the usual yellow forwarding Sticker, the PO.puts on the Envelope.Trouble is the Guy never lived here, and I tried to track him down, since it contained his Travel Passport,No Luck to find him or his Phone Number. Two Days ago a forwarded Package came here with another Guys Name on it.On 12-31-99 a Letter I mailed 18 Days earlier came back, that had the Destination Country missing(My mistake),the 20 other Xmas Cards, that were bundled with this one, all went to the same Town. The Person apparently could not figure out that it went to the same Town, even had the same Zip Code.:)18 Days from here to the PO and back, half a Mile away.Neat?

Whenever I've had mail forwarded in the past, it normally will take up to 14 days to get to the new address.

sometimes it arrives in a couple of days, sometimes.

I am currently having some mail forwarded from an old address and periodically send myself "test" letters to see how they are handled.

eh, 7-14 days... why this is, I don't know, but its been going on for a while.

like years.

I asked the clerk at the P.O. yesterday if they were having Y2K glitches. He said no. Would he have said? Yes--we were just chatting.
