In glancing through the Nikon System Handbook(ED.4), I have found mention of this lens, but no real comments by the author on it's potential. The price is certainly attractive if the lens is truely capable of sharp, contrasty images. Other than what I've read in the book, and the knowledge that it might not be one of Nikon's more robustly constructed lenses, that is all I know. I would like to hear comments from users of this lens. Can the photographic results be enlarged to 10X12's or 11X14s? Thanks a lot for your feedback.

I haven't personally used this lens so I won't give any comments on performance. You can probably find online reviews of this lens however. Go to photo.net/photo and check the Nikon section. Follow the link to Neal Vaughn's Nikon page. Also check put photodo.com for MTF ratings. Hope that helps.
