Chevron gas in Florida?

A friend of mine has a brother in Florida, who says Chevron gas is unavailable. I know this sounds like "a friend or friend" story, but can anybody confirm? snikpoh

I confirm it. I went to Texaco last night and asked if I could get some Chevron gas and they said they didn't have any. The same story was repeated at Amoco, Grizzly, Pilot, 76, Gulf and Arco.

Billy, you are so silly! hehehe

snikpoh, I live in Miami and there is plenty of Chevron gas, although at a high price. I saw Chevron yesterday for 1.39 (regular) and in other locations for 1.44. I don't know about other parts of Florida.

Yeah, weird, huh, how you can't get Chevron gas at a non-Chevron station.

And you know, I can't get a Whopper when I go to McDonald's either.

There was a posting a couple weeks ago that indicated that the brand name stations DO carry other brands of gas, but perhaps they won't outright admit to it. Probably depends on the contract arrangements for the particular station.
