CNN has just reported that the Hanford nuclear power station has had a "leak" of approximately 50 gallons of radioactive water.. sorry for the double post there.........

THANKS, shakey...50 gals.? and just how highly radioactive IS this 50?..released heading to where?..[maybe the underground water tables!?] looks like its` ti to check out those daily reports from the nrc.......yea yea we know....this is all normal!!!!.....[isn`t it a SAD time we live in if THIS is `acceptable`!!!!]

Folks, that potassium idotate can be fed x'ed if you don't already have some on hand. Remember, dogs are dosed the same amount as children, that being 1/2 adult dose.

This sounds like a joke, but maybe it's not. They've got millions of gallons, and only a foggy idea how much is leaking every day. 50 gallons? I don't think they have any equipment calibrated to that level of sensitivity.

Shakey are you sure that this a nuclear power plant? I'm not seeing that in the article.

Hanford is basically a nuclear waste disposal site. There are so many concerns for this area I wouldn't know where to begin, it is a Washington nightmare zone. Use Google and check out info. I have looked for a tragedy from this site most of my life, they can't afford to clean it up either, they have tried and always run out of money. This place is bad news
