Perhaps Peter should have rephrased that and stated:

It turns out that we've encountered fewer 99/00 boundary crossings to date than we feared. We will encounter more when monthly and quarterly activities are analyzed.

Anyone who seriously examined the Y2K issue chose the path we chose.

The problem is, he probably still draws a distinction between corporations and individuals. And I should trust the survival of my family to fix on failure because...?
