Military Plane Crashes, Pilot Dies

BOISE, Idaho (AP) -- A military attack jet crashed Thursday night in southwestern Idaho, killing an Idaho National Guard pilot.

Ada County sheriff's dispatch supervisor Myrna Harris said the pilot was the only person aboard the A-10 when it went down in a field near Star, about 15 miles northwest of Boise, at 6:42 p.m. MST.

Harris said investigators with the Federal Aviation Administration were examining the crash site Thursday night, but had not determined why the plane went down.

An eyewitness said the plane seemed to arc before plummeting.

The attack jet was believed to be from the Idaho National Guard facility at Boise. The National Guard shares an air field with Boise's city airport.

If a military jet crashing is a sign of a "Year" glitch, then I reckon there must have been a Year 1999 Glitch, and a Year 1998 Glitch, and a Year 1997 Glitch, and a Year 1996 Glitch,.....and......and....and a Year 1962 Glitch, and a Year 1961 Glitch, and a Year 1960 Glitch, and a Year 1959 Glitch, and....
