In Infomagic's last essay (that I know of), he spoke at length of what he termed the GO Crisis (Gold/Oil). Now that we are seeing some probs in the oil industry beginning to show themselves as well as rumors regarding the manipulation of the precious metals markets, I'm wondering if Mr. Magic has updated or enhanced any of his predictions. Unfortunately, I cannot find the original post on csy2k for his essay "I Was Wrong...". If anyone has that link, I's sure appreciate it.

Yes, I'll agree that it's a bummer, but if you read it closely, he (at least to me) puts a LOT more emphasis on the GO Crisis and the bursting of bubble.com than he does Y2K. In fact, he states that a good deal of his "doomer" predictions would occur even if the Y2K problem never existed. Unfortunately, I think he will turn out to be more right than wrong. I have nothing to back up this belief other than my own intuition. Sorry ;-)
