Ya know j.c. you just may be right. Having read a few of your posts combined with whats happened today and in the past 10 months, we are definately in for a rough ride. When all of these increases is oil are passed along by all of the companies that are taking hits, i.e. fedex, ups, shipping, airlines, manufacturing, consumers, contractors, wooooweeeee!!talk about inflation,

Greenspans going to have to crack the whip and big time. Are you kidding me $30.00 a barrel ----has it sunk in yet? Hey how about some high tech stocks? Ya know --where we don't look at profits-- just market growth. lol, lol, lol. Can't wait to see what some of these tulip -oops -I mean tech stocks are worth in about 3months.

Could you give us your reasons for thinking that oil may move much higher? Is it due to Y2K problems or something else?

-- Dave (dannco@hotmail.com), January 18, 2000.

JC ... hope you come forth with your oil analysis as promised. I like your comment .... Y2K is about OIL, everything else can wait. Shows you know the score. Let's see what else you have. Alot of folks are using up their prep stocks because of the rollover non-event. Meanwhile Bruce McConnell says the Y2K fireworks won't start until mid to late January! Help us out here .... no one knows what is happening! We need some hard FACTS to run on!

If the government can prop up the stock market, is there any reason they can't "prop down" (subsidize) oil prices?
