Thanks Pinkrock, here is another book written back in that era which may be appropriate in todays stock market enviornment.

It was written back in 1841 by Charles MacKay and talks about a number of financial MANIAS prior to that period.

Other than the Bible, if I had to preserve ONE piece of writing, it would be The Law by Bastiat. I would keep that EVEN before the declaration of Independence or our Constitution. It is THAT important a work.
