Another a priori tour de farce for Peter de Jager?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I think PdJ has done it again. After losing his wits and concluding that with 20/20 hindsight we made a mistake not relying on fix-on-failure, I read the following quote from him on a Jan. 11 csy2k post(DeJager: Y2K Problems Merely Postponed, Not Fixed!):

Complaining about the use of windowing "...most organizations, if you asked them today how many different pivot dates do you use in your windowing scheme, where exactly are they and have you documented when they abslutely must be fixed, I think you will find that they would be unable to give you that information.."

IF any organization were really that stupid, after all that has happened, then they would deserve to go out of business, being too dumb to live, as they say.

deJager is a joke. He used to make sense, but then he turned polly and just spewed the usual party line and spin. Nothing he says should be taken seriously.

Make sure the iron triangle, water works, and DoD are under good control and let the rest of them suffer the consequences.
