PARENT, Quebec (January 13, 2000 7:27 p.m. EST http://www.nandotimes.com) - Three people were killed and three injured when a single-engine plane crashed in a remote region of northern Quebec on Thursday.

The plane was on a sightseeing tour when it crashed at Lake Adonis, about 180 miles north of Montreal, said local search and rescue official David Elit.

He had few details of the crash, saying authorities received a report of an overdue plane late Thursday morning. The injured were transported by plane and helicopter to a regional hospital, Elit said.
