WAS I DREAMING?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Last night I feel asleep watching TV and woke up about 3:00 in the morning. When I woke up, World News was blaring with a report that the spy satellite was down for 3 days, not a few hours like the Penatgon reported last week. I don't see anything on the news today about it. WAS I HALLUCINATING LAST NIGHT? Thanks for any info.

It's so cute when people "discover" these things and leap to their keyboards in a frenzy. The fingers are a blur, but the eyes don't seem to work very well.

Pentagon will come out with a report in June, 2000 admitting that the spy sattelite was down for 3 months, not 3 days. Etc. etc.

Who gives a damn? It's up and running now.
