please email gary north

as you may be aware, gary north is planning to archive his site in the near future. he says not many are visiting his site and i believe he feels that there is not much interest.

i really enjoyed his site and appreciated all the work he put into it (with no monetary incentive). i would like to see others who feel the same way to email him and let him know that we support him. i would like to encourage him to maintain his site but to a less time intensive degree. maybe he would wish to open a forum again and just offer his perosnal opinion from time to time. i still find myself referring to his site for more information about some of the glitches that are being reported. many of them were predicted and outlined in some detail on his site. i miss his wit and insight.

anyway, if you support this idea please let him know immediately. he deserves some encouragement. if you will continue to visit his site or follow his mailing list let him know.

his email address is gnorth@bigfoot.com

I feel sorry for him. He obviously believed what he was preaching. He was no charlatan, just misguided, and for that I blame his parents.

He truly was "God's Other Son" (Don Imus, 1981 Good book. Check it out.)

I too like Gary North, but I have kept up with him from the 70s and Gary North ALWAYS has a 'crises in development'. In the 70s it was depression and Trilateral Comm., then it was aids and then it became y2k. Y2k was MADE for Gary North. He will be up and running with a new cause soon. YOu needn't worry about Gary. And I too will be reading and following his newest crises. He makes them all so interesting.

i'm not really sure that what he needs is sympathy. after all he is now prepared for almost anything. he has also followed his conscience and a clear conscience if of greater value than gold. just because the power grid didn't fail there are still many things that can cause disruptions in the future. i have hardly heard of anyone who is sorry they prepared. most are glad and many are continuing to make themselves less dependent. that is where we should have been in the first place. sites like gary north and michael hyatt and others gave many people the incentive to do these things. it was individual choice, but at least the information was there before us.

but i want his site to continue and in order for that to happen he needs to know if there is any interest. so if you do to, please email him at gnorth@bigfoot.com

I wonder where we would be without Gary there snipping at the heals of the NERC, the FED, etc? Who knows? But the world would certainly be different right now if he hadn't been there to push the issue.

"the world would certainly be different right now if he hadn't been there to push the issue"

That's egotistical delusion. I really don't think that the "world" could care less about Gary's (well intentioned) ranting.

God's other Son? Blasphemy! Unless you are planning a new religion, based on Scary Gary, of course.

Maybe we could call it Church of the Severe Bullshit Levels
