It looked like a flower garden site.
Do they have food garden info also?

Hi there snooze.... I recently had a question about container vegetable gardening so I went to this site: www.Allexperts.com and asked about growing Asparagus in some sort of container (my creaky old knees don't take kindly to flat gardening ;)) They have many categories you can ask about and the 'Expert' sent me an email right away with the answer (yes I can use a container for Asparagus, but, it needs to be really deep) and suggested other veggies and containers I could use. Give it a try, you can get real specific with questions and get just the info you want.

Gardenweb.com has superb forums, where any conceivable question about any conceivable gardening topic can be posed. It's a very friendly online community, and also there are lots of exchange/trade messageboards, to trade seeds, bulbs, seedlings, etc with others. Here's GARDENWEB

Here's another vote for gardenweb. Great site, very helpful people, lots of interaction with other (more knowledgeable) gardeners.

Gardenweb's veggie gardening site is at

Hi Snooze --

Thanks for the neat website address. I can't wait to get back out into the garden. I lost an entire year of yard/garden work due to prepping for Y2K. I really missed being outside. I even love to weed the lawn, get some cool tapes from the library and spend hours chasing those naughty weeds. Kind of puts one in a zen state of mind.

If I can help with any gardening question I will try. I greenhoused for 15 years with my brothers, and worked for a garden center for 2 years.
