What's your point? Tbere is no Y2K problem? Or we're following it too closely? Regardless, your water heater is irrelevant. Que sera, sera . . . Whatever will be, will be.

Thanks for reporting these glitches. Keep the good news coming in. The Fat Lady hasn't sung yet.

--... You should check if it was made by Acme Overflow Limited. Prior to rollover, as was reported on a previous thread last September, they were having some embedded chip problems in the welding sector of the manufacturing plant. As their stock plummeted, they denied that the problems were Y2K related, and that their business fundamentals were sound. Nevertheless, after operations resumed on Jan. 4th, 2000 they announced that a merger was indeed in the cards, as there was no point in fighting the media reports of "alleged" union boycotts. The merger was proclaimed shortly thereafter, with the well-known but technologically inferior firm of Tank Injected Metered Environmental Water Aquaculturally Reliable Networked Engineering Resources. As the merger would have created a name even lengthier, the new company will be listed under their new acronym, AOLTIMEWARNER, a combination of their previous trade names.

---... If I were you, I would start an intenet search of their new management and Board of Directors to determine just who is responsible for the inconvenience (and damages?) you are experiencing.IMHO
